Most agencies have never had to keep something running at 3am. We have. JobOS is our product, in production, with paying users — and it is why we can be specific about how your build will go instead of optimistic.
Where this came from
JobOS Labs grew out of building JobOS — a career platform for people navigating the U.S. job market. It started as one founder's problem and turned into a production system: a web app, a Chrome extension that automates 24 different applicant tracking systems, a native mobile app, payments, and the unglamorous operational work that keeps all of it running.
Along the way, people started asking whether we could build the same kind of thing for them. Enough of them asked that it became a second business. This is that business.
How we are different
We are small and we intend to stay that way. The people in the first call are the people writing the code — there is no account manager translating your problem into a brief, and no junior team learning the stack on your budget.
Because we operate our own product, we are unusually blunt about cost and maintenance. An agent that runs unattended is not a project that ends; it is a system somebody has to own. We will tell you what that costs before you commit, not after.

Four things we do not compromise on.
You own everything
Your code, your repos, your cloud accounts, your API keys, your data. No proprietary runtime you have to keep renting from us to keep the lights on. If you fire us, everything keeps working.
Working software over decks
The first deliverable of every engagement is something that runs. Strategy documents are a byproduct of building, not a substitute for it.
We will talk you out of things
A good chunk of what gets asked for should not be built, and the rest is often smaller than it first looks. Saying so costs us revenue in the short term and earns the next three projects.
Small and senior
The people you meet are the people who build it. No account layer, no offshore handoff, no junior team learning on your budget.
