AI platform · Own product

A career operating system for the U.S. job market.

Our flagship product, built and operated in-house. A web platform plus a Chrome extension that reads job postings, tailors resumes against them, autofills applications across 24 applicant tracking systems, and answers work-authorization questions correctly.

The problem

Applying for jobs in the U.S. is mechanical work dressed up as a career decision. Every application re-asks the same forty questions, every posting wants the resume reworded, and for anyone on a visa, one wrong answer to a work-authorization question quietly ends the application. The pain is worst for the people with the least room for error.

The approach

Rather than another job board, JobOS automates the application itself. The extension injects into the ATS the candidate is already looking at, reads the form, and fills it from a structured profile — including the visa questions that generic autofill tools get wrong. The web app handles resume tailoring, match scoring, and tracking. Answers cache locally, so the system gets faster and cheaper for each user over time.

Where it is now

Live in production at jobos.us with a Chrome extension, native mobile app, real users, and paying customers. Now the reference implementation for what this studio builds for clients.

How it got here

  1. The start

One founder's own problem — every U.S. application re-asking the same forty questions, and one wrong work-authorization answer quietly ending it.

  2. First build

The web app: resume tailoring and match scoring against real postings, on Supabase with row-level security from day one.

  3. The extension

A Chrome MV3 extension that injects into the applicant tracking system the candidate is already on — growing to 24 of them, each with its own hostile DOM.

  4. Today

Three surfaces in production — web, extension, and a native mobile app — with real users, payments, and a job feed pulling directly from roughly 435 company boards.

Why this is the case study

JobOS is the proof. It is a production AI system with real users, real payments, and real consequences for getting an answer wrong — built by the same people who would build yours. Most studios show you client work they cannot describe. We can show you ours, running, and walk you through every decision in it.
